Lush Crafts was born from a deep love for handwork and a desire to share the beauty of traditional Sri Lankan craftsmanship with the world. What started as a personal passion grew into a small, dedicated studio where every piece is made entirely by hand — no machines, no shortcuts.

We specialise in paper quilling, and thoughtfully assembled handmade gifts. Each creation takes hours — sometimes days — of careful, focused work. That time is what makes every piece worth giving.

How it's made

The Process
Behind Each Piece

No two pieces are exactly alike. Here is how a typical paper quilling creation comes to life:

Cut & Prepare

Acid-free paper strips are selected in the right colours and widths for the design.

Roll & Shape

Each strip is hand-rolled into coils and shaped — teardrops, marquise, spirals and more.

Arrange & Compose

Hundreds of shapes are placed and adjusted until the design has the right balance and depth.

Glue & Finish

Everything is secured, sealed, and finished — ready to be gifted or displayed.
